Update WHOIS Contact Information for Your Domain

If you need to update the WHOIS contact information associated with your domain, follow these steps in your DoHost Client Area.

1. Navigate to Your Domains

  • Login to your Account.
  • In the Client Area, click on Domains and select My Domains from the dropdown menu.

 

2. Select the Domain to Edit

  • Locate the domain name for which you’d like to change the contact information.
  • Click the Active button next to this domain to access its management settings.

 

3. Access Contact Information Settings

  • Once in the domain management page, click on Manage in the sidebar.
  • Select Contact Information from the menu options.

 

4. Update the Contact Details

  • Here, you can update the contact information fields, such as Name, Email Address, Phone Number, Organization, and Address.
  • Make sure each section (Registrant, Admin, Tech, and Billing Contact) is accurate, as this information may affect domain-related communications.

 

5. Save Changes

After updating the information, click Save Changes to apply the updates.

 

Note: WHOIS updates may take some time to reflect publicly, as they need to propagate across global WHOIS databases. Additionally, ensure your information complies with domain privacy regulations and policies.
